This Privacy Policy explains what personal data this website (the "Site") collects, why, and what rights you have. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, write to [email protected].
1. What we collect
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, and the pages you view. Collected automatically in server logs.
- Account data — if you register: username, email address, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Content you send us — messages sent through the contact form, comments, and copyright or content-removal reports, including the name, email and any details you choose to include.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
2. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To operate and secure the Site — legitimate interests: serving pages, preventing abuse, fraud and attacks, and diagnosing faults.
- To provide accounts — performance of a contract with you.
- To answer your messages and process removal requests — legitimate interests and, for copyright notices, compliance with a legal obligation.
- To measure traffic — consent, where required by your local law.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- hosting, CDN and analytics providers acting as our processors under contract;
- law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. [CONFIRM WHICH SAFEGUARD APPLIES TO YOUR PROVIDERS.]
5. Retention
Server logs are kept for 90 days. Account data is kept while your account exists and for 6 months afterwards. Copyright and removal correspondence is kept for 3 years so we can show how a report was handled.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Children
The Site is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date shows when it last changed; material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
